Location: Sioux Lookout, ON
Salary Range: $21.50 - $26.50 based on a 40-hour workweek. Rate will be commensurate with education and experience. Salary progression based on merit.
Job Summary:
This position works in conjunction with team members in the Quality Assurance, Procurement and Stores
Inventory and Aircraft Maintenance Departments. The Stores/Shipping & Receiving Clerk is a liaison between the operational areas and helps to facilitate effective and efficient processes to reach the goal of excellence in data quality and inventory management. The incumbent ensures that the documentation requirements meet the standards set by SkyCare and Regulatory Authorities (TCCA).
Responsibilities include:
- Daily shipping and receiving activities.
- Ordering, receiving, organizing, and maintaining parts inventory.
- Quality auditing of technical aircraft records, training records, and parts.
- Scan and correctly e-file documentation.
- Update and maintain AMS, Inventory Manager and other computer-based maintenance tracking system records for all company-controlled aircraft and components as required.
- Completing daily and annual audits.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Aviation Management.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in inventory management.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Required to obtain and maintain satisfactory CPIC (Criminal Record Check).
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations and ability to stay current.
- Good computer skills; proficiency in MS Office, with emphasis on Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Keen eye for detail and ability to work consistently with accuracy.
- Able to learn and adapt quickly.
- Good problem solving and critical thinking skills with good judgement to know when to consult/escalate to manager.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and strong teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated flexibility and organizational skills to meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment with shifting priorities, multiple demands, and some urgency.
