With 2,000+ hours total time and 500 multi-engine PIC hours, you are ready to take on a leadership role in a high-impact operational environment.
At SkyCare, Medevac Captains operate the SW4 Metroliner in support of Northern communities that rely on timely, critical care. This role carries full responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the aircraft, crew, and mission.

Your Role at SkyCare
As a Medevac Captain, you will:
-           Exercise final authority over the safe operation of the aircraft
-           Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure proper weight and balance
-           Lead and coordinate flight crew activities during all phases of flight
-           Communicate with dispatch, air traffic control, and ground teams
-           Respond to in-flight events, including emergencies and operational changes
-           Complete post-flight inspections and report maintenance requirements

-           Multi-engine IFR flying in dynamic and remote environments
-           Exposure to complex and time-critical missions
-           Operations across Ontario, as well as domestic and international destinations

Location
Our main base is in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, with additional bases Thunder Bay (ON), and Kitchener-Waterloo (ON). Pilot assignments are driven by operational needs and may rotate across our network.

Qualifications & Requirements
-           TC Commercial Pilot Licence – Fixed Wing
-           TC ATPL
-           Multi-instrument Flight Rating
-           Valid Canadian Aviation Medical
-           Minimum 2 years of experience and 2,000 total time hours
-           Minimum 500 Multi-Engine PIC hours
-           Valid Driver’s License
-           Restricted Radiotelephone Operator License
-           Valid Canadian passport and/or the ability to work in Canada and trave to the USA
-           Effective interpersonal skills
-           Excellent oral and written communication (English language proficiency required)
-           Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (within the last 30 days)

Compensation

$98,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
