Salary Range: $22 - $32 per hour (commensurate with experience and education)

Job Summary:
The Aviation Technical Records Clerk is responsible for auditing work completed by the Quality Assurance Operations and Aircraft Maintenance Departments and for updating maintenance tracking software. This role supports effective data management processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. The incumbent ensures that all documentation meets the standards set by SkyCare and applicable Regulatory Authorities (TCCA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and promptly update aircraft maintenance and technical records to ensure continued airworthiness, effective maintenance planning, and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a technical records specialist supporting the Quality Assurance team.
- Review aircraft journey logbook pages to verify accuracy of all recorded parameters.
- Maintain and update aircraft and component tracking records in accordance with maintenance entries.
- Audit aircraft records to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Follow up maintenance personnel to correct or complete documentation as needed.
- Update and maintain RAAS, and other computerized maintenance tracking systems for all company-controlled aircraft and components.
- Ensure aircraft maintenance forecasts remain current and accurate.
- Retrieve and provide documentation in response to information requests according to established guidelines.
- Maintain an organized archiving system, ensuring all documents are complete and accurate.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Aviation Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in technical records, preferably within the aviation industry.
- Understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and the ability to remain current.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and judgment skills, with the ability to know when to escalate issues.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and team-oriented approach.
- Flexible and organized, capable of meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
