Job Description:
The Direct Entry Pilot is responsible for assisting the captain in flight preparation and operation of an aircraft. They are required to conduct a pre-flight inspection of the aircraft to ensure that all navigation, safety, and operating systems are working properly.
 
Job Summary:
As a Direct Entry Pilot, you will embark on an exciting journey with our Pilot Pathway Program, designed to shape aspiring pilots into proficient aviation professionals. You will initially assume the role of Operations Coordinator or Aircraft Groomer, gaining invaluable operational experience before ascending to the coveted position of Navajo First Officer.
 
SkyCare Pilot Pathway Program Highlights:
  • Tailored Development: Exclusive program designed for exceptional turbine Captains.
  • Flexible Entry: Based on your experience level, enter the Captain Development Program at various stages depending upon the number of training hours.
  • Support Position: (entry level pilot with 250hrs), Navajo First Officer (If you possess 500+ hours), Metro First Officer (If you possess 500+ hours), Navajo Captain (If you possess 1200+ hours), Metro Captain (If you possess 2000+ hours)
  • Goal: Commit to becoming a turbine or jet Captain with SkyCare.
  • Skill Progression: Progress rapidly from ground roles to the left seat, enhancing leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Dynamic Career: Experience continual advancement, ensuring you never stay in one place for long.
  • Accelerated Promotion: Depending on your dedication, discipline, and skillset, achieve promotion to turbine Captain in as little as 24 months.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • TC Commercial Pilot License
  • TC Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR
  • Valid Class 1 Medical
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
  • Minimum 500 hours TT
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (within the last 30 days)
 
Training Base: Sioux Lookout, ON
You may travel from time to time to other base locations in St. Andrews, Manitoba, Kitchener and Thunder Bay, Ontario.
